A useful site, but it may be worth noting that we (the UK) spell argument and bank in the same manner as you (banque being French) and that we use both licence (noun) and license (verb). I've never come across the word 'libre' (aside French). I think most people over here would spell medieval without the 'a' too; I think mediaeval's archaic rather than British!
